Color Psychology: Your Daily Color Guide

Color Psychology: Your Daily Color Guide

Color plays a significant role in our emotions, behaviors, and how we see ourselves . In fashion, the colors we choose to wear can influence how we feel and how others perceive us. In order to make the most out of every day in the week, let’s select colors that reflect our intentions and moods. Here’s an easy guide of what colors to wear 7 days a week!

Monday: Blue

Since it is the start of the week, Mondays tend to be stressful as we all want to extend our restful weekends. With this, blue is perfect—blue is a color associated with stability, reliability, and a sense of peace. Wearing blue helps promote a calm and focused state, setting a good start for the rest of the week. Remember, Monday (is for) blues!

Tuesday: Green

By Tuesday, we want to power up with more energy to go through our daily tasks.  Green symbolizes vitality and freshness—which is most needed as the week progresses. The color itself is associated with hope  so wearing green on a Tuesday helps soothe your worries and reduce stress.

Wednesday: Pink

On Wednesdays, we wear pink! Mean Girls reference aside, pink creates a sense of comfort because the color is linked to feelings of love, compassion, and nurturing. As we are in the middle of the week, we seek support and connection. Wearing a pastel pink top or a Taffy Jelli M1 mask can add a warm, approachable vibe to your look.

Thursday: Black

Black is the representative color for power, elegance, and strength. As we approach the end of the week, we must evoke a sense of self-confidence and importance in ourselves to help us transition into our last sprint towards the weekend. Wearing a tailored black suit, using a black leather bag, or using a Midnight Jelli M1 mask would do the trick!

Friday:  Red

Red is the color of passion, energy, and confidence, making it perfect for a day of productivity to finish the week strong. Be brave and bold with a red lipstick or a striking red dress. Red provides an added motivation necessary to do your final tasks and prepare for the upcoming weekend. Also, Fridays often are the time for events and social gatherings so wearing a bold red outfit makes a strong statement that you are ready for anything!

Saturday: Orange

Orange is a warm and inviting color that’s great at embodying the spirit of the weekend—inviting enthusiasm, excitement, and adventurousness to your clothing choices (and perhaps, your weekend as well!) Wear orange to social gatherings and color yourself to be a little more sociable and vibrant.

Sunday: White

Sunday is the time for rest, relaxation, and reflection. Wearing white symbolizes a fresh start, helping you end the weekend with peaceful meditation and lessons from the past week. So conclude the week with a clean white outfit: partner a crisp white shirt and trousers, with the Arctic Jelli M1 mask and you will find yourself a serene look perfect for a leisurely day!

By consciously choosing your daily intentions and the kind of state you want to have every day (through choosing the right color), you can manifest the kind of person you want to be on that day, whether it be bold like red or calm like white. So the next time you choose your outfit for the day, think about who you want to become (and also how you want to be perceived as) and let it guide your fashion decisions!
