It’s almost the end of the holiday season, and for students, this means one thing: a new semester is fast approaching. While it’s sad to let go of all the freedom you had during the break, going into the new semester doesn’t have to be daunting. With this, the Jelli Tech team listed some things you can do to prepare!
Plan out your schedule
If you‘ve already signed up for your classes, this is the best time to outline your semester. Use a physical or digital planner, whichever you prefer, and take note of all of your deadlines, appointments, and activities. This will help you be mentally prepared and you won’t have to worry about forgetting anything important!
Set goals and routines
Setting goals helps you stay focused and motivated throughout the semester. It doesn’t have to be limited to academics, either—you can include personal goals as well. Write them down, break them into manageable steps, then put them somewhere visible. It will also help to reflect on the past semester by acknowledging what went right and improving on what went wrong.
Clean and organize your room
A new semester calls for a fresh start, and this includes a general cleaning of the places you’ll be using the most. Your environment will not just affect your physical well-being but also your mental health. Keeping your room neat and tidy will make for a conductive space for learning, boosting your productivity and helping you accomplish goals better.
Prepare your essentials
Having complete essentials will help you have a smoother semester. Gather your textbooks and stationery, and complete all logistical requirements and paperwork. To keep yourself protected throughout the semester, grab a Jelli M1 mask! It’s reusable, comfortable, and goes well with any outfit. You’ll be sure to look sleek and fashionable!
Take care of yourself
It’ll be difficult to start healthy habits once you become busier, so it’s important to get back on track now. Brush your teeth at least twice a day, exercise, and get back to a proper sleep schedule, especially if you’ve been sleeping very late during the break (don’t worry, we can relate). It won’t be easy, but the payoff will be worth it.
All in all, maximize the time you have left for the break. Plan ahead, but don’t forget to just chill from time to time, too. After all, easygoing times like this don’t come by often. Good luck and study well!
